Bakelite electric lever lock release plunger in excellent  condition and retaining most of its original Nickle Silver plating which is usually polished off by the signalmen

Sadly most of these signal have now gone but some canal bridges still have theirs and hopefully they remain

This example has the two top corners missing but a cosmetic repair could easily be carried out. The sign is mounted on a wooden backplate with metal eye for display purposes.
