The Wrecking Coast distillery was founded in Tintagel and to create this delightful little tipple they firstly macerate a range of 12 different botanicals into a neutral grain spirit for a minimum of two weeks before they run this through something known as an iStill (computer operated)

This release from the Tarquin team takes their original Handcrafted Gin and infuses this with fresh picked Blackberries

The result is a Spicy 'Fire' forward body with an increasing intensity which is infused with hints of Oak and Toffee which is mellowed out by a Juicy Sweet Apple finish but still remains the Smokey undertone

The focus as you might have guessed is on Rhubarb and Cranberries which allows for Tangy Rhubarb at the forefront which develops Bittersweet notes of Cranberry before refreshing Juicy Fruit notes come through and just a touch of Strawberry and Juniper Spice to finish
