Powering the watch is Omega's top tier caliber 565 with 24 jewels (seven more than in many similar Omega's) and quick seting date, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. Omega's 500 series was one of the finest mass produced automatics from the era. It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without
