It is confined to the eastern side of the continents. Its almost blue green leaves make a beautiful sculptural fan shape, and its quirky fuzzy rhizomes (creeping terrestrial roots) make it a fun addition to any houseplant collection. It needs a bright indirect light, and its soil to be kept evenly moist, but not boggy. Best for a 7" pot with drainage.
