(1907) Hecla Sir Minor Hec Irish Tara Teddy tiny brown eyes and blackSir Minor Hec is a very rare Hecla. He is mohair, stuffed with woodwool, with felt paws. His paws and feet all have original stitching on them (claws). He is a lovely chap This company began making bears to be Americas answer to the successful German Steiff bear. The company made their bears to be almost identical to Steiff bears, they even imported the mohair from Germany! Yet, the company did not advertise much and was out of business in two years.
