The handcrafted artisan design will protect your fingers from getting burned. The Jigsaw design is for small oval shaped handles such as Villager or Yeoman. All our family use ours, it hangs on a blacksmiths nail by the stove, so it is always close to hand. The Woodee was born out of necessity. I burnt my fingers one too many
