US Navy WAVES Hat part I still think this isOriginal vintage WWII US Navy WAVES women's service hat (enlisted). It is marked size 22, but it seems to have shrunk with age and it fits more like a 21. Overall fairly good condition. W. A. V. E. S. labels. The white cover has some staining (I have not tried to clean it). The tally is a little wrinkled and has some tiny pinprick holes and some odd stitching in places. The white cover snaps on to the brim and can be changed out for a seersucker or
