This is likely a wartime or pre war version for the civilian market

but I can't remember for sure

The can is a pretty nice issued example in original paint, the maker code AEMA 1940. The webbing closure is still solid and nice. The mask is a size 2 and is a bit worn and dirty, some of the rubber seams on the canvas mask are flaky for years of being stored scrunched up in the can. The lenses are pretty clear. The filter is dented on the bottom. The spare lenses
