It was handmade on the wheel and then raku fired, which gives it a unique glaze and crackle pattern. I love the paintbrush stroke on the glazing of this shape. It's slightly non symmetrical, but I love its elegance. This piece has a crack at the bottom. It's not water tight because of the raku firing however and the crack is hidden by the small neck of the vase.
